On 11 November, the European Parliament’s Committee on Foreign Affairs published its draft resolution on the Commission’s 2019-2020 reports on Turkey. The draft resolution in question highlighted the deterioration of relations between Turkey and the European Union, owing in particular to Turkey’s democratic backsliding and its recent foreign policy.
In order to ensure that none of the victims of Turkey’s repressive policies is overlooked, we submitted proposed amendments to the draft resolution for the attention of the Members of the European Parliament.
